Malibu Helping Malibu

How to help

Below you will find GoFundMe Pages for:

  • Our Webster families who have lost their homes and are seeking funds to help them start to rebuild what they've lost to the fires.
  • The local teachers who have lost their homes to the fires.
  • The Boys & Girls Club - Malibu Foundation - which all the schools are supporting and which is putting a process into place to review & distribute funds to our community quickly & equitably.

We are also compiling a list of resources, information and offers for housing and childcare here.

If you have lost your home, please take a look at this to-do list that a Malibu resident who lost their home in the last fire put together.   A helpful guide that may help as you figure out your next steps.  The To Do List When You've Lost Your Home - Blog Post.

Thank you to everyone who joined Friendsgiving in Santa Monica.  It's incredible what our teachers and staff pulled together for our community - and the outpouring of support from the surrounding commiunities.  Friends gave books, clothes, toys and toiletries and the teachers prepared an incredible Thanksgiving feast for over 400 people!  #MalibuStrong   Read more about the event in the Surfside News

THANK YOU to Aaron, Cisco & The Malibu Burger Co. who donated 20 $50 gift certificates to Whole Foods for the Webster families and educators we know lost their homes to the fires - to help provide some relief and ensure those families have something delicious to eat for Thanksgiving.

If you have a volunteer opportunity to share, something to offer (a home, childcare, etc.) or if you are in need of any type of help - e-mail and we will confirm and post that information here.
