While PTA is pausing active fundraising through the end of the year, we still welcome donations to help support Webster and the Malibu Schools Central Fundraising efforts.
We are at currently at 51% participation.
in donations to the Whale Fund. Your contributions to the PTA support important STUFF, ENRICHMENT, ASSEMBLIES and PARENT ENGAGEMENT (like movie night, teacher's supplies, the Halloween parade, field day, campout, field trips, spirit wear, science night and more).
There is also a central fundraising effort underway, which funds essential STAFF and STAFF-LED programs during the school day above & beyond what state funding provides (like P.S. ARTS classes, innovative computer programming with Planet Bravo, classroom aides and more).
Central fundraising is now split between Malibu and Santa Monica – enabling each community to invest 100% of their funds locally. The good news? Funds raised in Malibu now stay in Malibu.
Malibu’s centralized fundraising organization is in development. WE still need to raise funds this year to pay for additional staff and to maintain the exceptional educational experience we’ve established at Webster. The annual cost to Webster is $161,000.
The PTA is kicking off a fundraising bonanza to exceed the Webster PTA Whale Fund goals to ensure that WE can make a significant donation to maintain our existing staff and a phenomenal experience for Malibu students. Help us meet this goal.
